In the meantime, you may find these handy hints, tips and terminology useful.

Frequently asked questions:

1How often should I have a facial?
Facials are recommended every four to six weeks to keep the skin balanced and healthy. Courses of treatments can be a good idea before a big event or to treat any concerns on the skin.
2What are the benefits of a facial?
The skin will appear brighter, clearer and more evenly toned. Even if you look after your skin at home yourself you will still see a difference in your skin.
3How do I know which facial I need?
If you've never had a facial before then the Matis Paris Silky Soft Skin treatment is a good one to begin with. A short consultation is always recommended before having a facial. This way the therapist can look at your skin and ask you what your concerns are.
4If I have one facial do I need to keep having them every month?
No, you can have them as little or often as you would like. In an ideal world once a month will keep your skin looking clear, healthy and hydrated. I can also keep an eye on it for any abnormalities and advise home care throughout the seasons.
5Can I wear make up after a facial?
It is best to leave make up off the skin until the following day as this way the skin can get the maximum results from the products. There will be times though when this is not possible so if you do need to then just use the bare minimum and make sure you remove it thoroughly.
6Will I need to buy the products to use at home?
This in entirely your choice. I can provide advice on what products are best suited for your skin type and give a prescription to take home. By looking after your skin at home you will be continuing the benefits of the treatment.
7What do you mean by 'skincare prescription'?
I can recommend a six month programme based on your individual skin type, lifestyle and goals.
