The symptoms of peri-menopause and menopause can be frustrating and sometimes distressing. In terms of outward appearance, a combination of hormonal shifts, the way we store fat and fatigue can contribute to changing body shape and skin condition - giving noticeable changes in facial appearance like jowls and loss of muscle density, dry or sensitive skin, breakouts and more.

This can dent confidence and impact joie de vivre.

This is a time at which it is important to have regular skin consultations and to keep a professional eye on how your skin is changing. Having regular facials, every 4-to-6 weeks, means I will be able to spot any issues and changes - particularly skin cancer and pre-cancerous skin growths, which become more common more during menopause.
